// Cut-over inquiry

Let's move you off the leech.

You have a site that charges you monthly for the privilege of using it. I'll cut you over to a hand-coded version you own outright — code, content, and all. One cost, then it's yours.

Pricing reality check

Cut-overs look the same on the surface, but the math is different depending on what your site does.

Content / brochure sites

Service businesses, restaurants, portfolios, blogs — anything that doesn't sell online. A cut-over drops your monthly site fees to $0 (you only pay the one-time build + domain renewal). Squarespace, Wix, GoDaddy, WordPress.com all fall in this bucket.

E-commerce sites

Stores that actually sell products need a payment backend. The cut-over removes the site-builder subscription (the part that charges you monthly for hosting + the editor), but you keep a payment processor — Stripe, Shopify Headless, Medusa — at zero markup. Lower monthly bill, same checkout.

How a cut-over works

1 to 2 weeks depending on scope. No surprises, no scope creep, no platform tax at the end.

// Step 1

Send the details

The form below — current platform, URL, what's broken, what you're paying now. I reply within 1 business day.

// Step 2

Scope + quote

1-2 page quote: what I'd build, why, what it costs, how long it takes. No charge until you sign off.

// Step 3

Build + demo

1-2 weeks. You get a live demo on a temporary URL — your current site stays up the whole time.

// Step 4

Cut-over + handoff

I move your domain, point DNS, hand over the source code + editing guide. 30 days of support post-launch.
